Information from this Institution

Institution´s policy towards use of 14-19 Diplomas

The University welcomes the introduction of the new Advanced Diplomas. Candidates will need to check with individual departments about their particular subject area to ensure that an appropriate Line of Learning has been followed. Specific Additional/Specialist Learning may be required for programmes accepting a new Diploma. Please check the department´s web pages for further details.

Institution´s policy on Unit Grades

For the majority of our courses conditional offers are specified in terms of overall A level grades, including specific grades in specific subjects where necessary. We do not intend to express our offers in terms of units taken or grades obtained in those units. For those applicants who do not achieve the terms of their conditional offer, however, we may use their overall profiles, including unit grades, at the Confirmation period to determine whether they may still be offered places.

Interviews

Many applicants offered non-selective interviews. Selective interviews for Pharmacy, Social Work and some Foundation Degrees/HNDs.
