Institution´s policy towards use of 14-19 Diplomas

The University of Nottingham recognises the new level 3 Advanced Diplomas as being equivalent to A-levels and therefore satisfying the general entrance requirements. Applicants who successfully complete the level 3 Advanced Diplomas will be considered for entry on to degrees in closely related subjects. Applicants may be required to complete specific qualifications as part of the additional/specialist learning options (eg Mathematics for Engineering degrees). Further details will be available in the entry profiles for 2009 entry.
 
Institution´s policy on Unit Grades

The University of Nottingham will not use unit grades as part of its decision making process or make offers including unit grades. However, unit grades may be taken in to account during Confirmation.
